Description (Service)

Emergency shelter, including

  • basic needs
  • counselling
  • case management
  • goal planning
  • well-being and emotional supports
  • connections to resources and programming

BYS (Brampton) includes

  • crisis counselling
  • case management
  • referrals to ongoing clinical support and counselling
  • access to resource room
  • capacity 40

Transitional housing -- 17 individual, rent-geared-to-income bachelor units, with support services including

  • life skills, employment, education, harm reduction, and housing support for up to 18 months
  • aftercare and rental subsidies are available upon graduation from the program
Hours Mon-Sun 24 hours, call for intake; office Mon-Fri 8:30 am-4:30 pm

Youth 16-24 years who are homeless, under housed, or at risk of homelessness, including recent immigrants, and youth escaping abusive relationships and trauma-driven home environments; all genders, non-binary and gender nonconforming youth
