Description and Service Details

Description (Service)	The band membership is comprised primarily of civilian volunteers. Some members are police officers, while others are retired police or peace officers. The HRPS P&D continues to grow with up-and-coming student musicians made up of 16 pipers, five snares and one bass drummer wear the tartan of the Chisholm clan, the founding fathers of the Town of Oakville performs by permission of the Chief of Police at a variety of community events within and beyond Halton Region over the course of a calendar year three-hour practice nights are held weekly throughout the entire year, with extra nights being afforded newer members for more dedicated instruction
