Description (Service)

Offers a variety of camps during the summer with activities like swimming, arts and crafts, sports, and games at the following locations:

Tansley Woods Community Centre, 1996 Itabashi Way:

Kidventure Camp, 6-13 yrs:

  • a weekly indoor/outdoor, theme-based camp that encourages campers to explore their imagination 
  • each week a guest speaker presents a special programme based on the theme of the week

Sports Camp, 6-13 yrs:

  • a weekly indoor/outdoor camp that introduces campers to a variety of sports

Christie Lake Conservation Area, 1000 ON-5, Dundas:

  • includes free busing from the Burlington area

Camp Chippewa, 6-13 yrs:

  • a weekly camp with opportunity daily for swimming and outdoor games 
  • children participate in canoeing, archery and crafts twice per week
