A Hindu Temple built in a style similar to the temples of India

  • main deity of the Temple is Goddess Vaishnodevi, also called Maa or mother
  • services held mainly in Hindi and Punjabi, sometimes in Sanskrit and English
  • special ceremonies on Hindu religious festivals
  • provides religious, spiritual and social services to Hindu community
  • everyone is welcome
  • free Hindu vegetarian food is served every Tue and Sun evening
  • Priest services for individual religious or social ceremonies
  • yoga classes 

Groups:

  • Seniors from Oakville, Burlington and Mississauga meet in the Temple
  • youth groups
  • Temple operated classes for Hindi language learning, classical Indian music and classical Indian dances
  • age appropriate programs for children and youth 

Rental Facilities:

  • religious functions only
  • capacity of 300 people
  • can serve only Hindu vegetarian food (no fish, meat or eggs)
  • full kitchen facilities
  • 54" TV, DVD/VCR and closed circuit cameras available
  • no dancing or alcohol
  • parking available
  • must make a donation to rent
