Description (Service)

A national youth program that provides Canadians aged 12 to 18 with opportunities to gain life and work skills, self confidence, discipline, initiative and decision making

  • promotes and develops an interest in aviation and the Canadian Armed Forces
  • encourages youth interested in aeronautics
  • assists those intending to pursue a career in the field of aviation 
  • public speaking programs 
  • first aid 
  • outdoor survival
  • band 
  • summer training camps-survival, aviation, band, drill/leadership, physical education, aerospace
  • international exchange programs
  • teaches leadership and mentoring
Hours
  • Mandatory training: Tue 6:30 pm-9:30 pm at T.A. Blakelock High School
  • Additional optional extra-curriculars on other weeknights and occasional weekends
