Description (Service)

An initiative that matches newcomers with Canadian citizens, or longtime community members, to build their social connections and achieve their career goals in the Halton community 
 
Participants get:

  • access to career preparation workshops, which include guest speakers, activities about everyday life in Canada, and group discussions
  • support with identifying opportunities that match your skills and job interests
  • Canadian work experience and community connections through volunteer positions
  • information, guidance and mentorship from Canadian citizens or longtime community members

Eligibility Must be a permanent resident of Canada, protected persons or a convention refugee 
 
Ukrainians who arrived in Canada under the CUAET immigration stream are also eligible for the program
