Description (Service)	The Town of Milton's six major departments provide a wide range of services to the residents of the community: Community Services Corporate Services Engineering Services Executive Services Fire and Rescue Services Planning and Development Services Major services include: fire protection recreational programming and facilities library services transit local land use planning winter maintenance construction and maintenance of local streets and sidewalks parks maintenance business development the issuance of building permits and licences bylaw enforcement animal control tax collection
