Volunteer Auxiliary providing services to the Milton District Hospital

• a registered charity with numerous fundraising initiatives
• funds raised are donated to the Milton District Hospital and used to purchase new equipment
• annual fundraisers include Strawberry Fair, rummage sale,  Gift Shop and gift wrapping at the mall
• services include wayfinding, assistance on patient units and in clinics, emergency department, sewing and repairs, flower arranging, gift shop, tea cart for patients and visitors
• youth volunteer program giving teens 14 and older an opportunity to gain knowledge and volunteer experience

• immunization history 2 step TB test required for all volunteers
• wait list may exist for high school students applying to volunteer
• for applicants 18+ a Criminal records and Judicial matters check level 2 will be required prior to starting
