Peer support group for individuals and their families who are affected by a mood disorder and whose main purpose is to gain a better understanding of the illness, to offer non-judgmental support and to share experiences
The focus of monthly meetings is wellness through education and sharing
- guest speakers include individuals who live with a mood disorder, psychiatrists, psychiatric nurses, social workers and specialists in nutrition and relaxation
- video presentations by medical specialists or professional documentaries
- open discussions
- no registration or membership required
- all those affected by a mood disorder are welcome
