Description (Service)

Supports internationally trained immigrants with obtaining commensurate employment in regulated and non-regulated professions and trades

  • occupation-specific technical training, workplace culture and communication training
  • licensure examination preparation
  • connections to professions in Canada through mentorships, internships, clinical placements, and networking events
Hours Mon-Fri 8:30 am-5 pm
Areas Served Ontario
Eligibility Adults 18 years or older, with a post-secondary certificate or degree from outside Canada who are residents of Ontario and have international work experience in a profession or trade; must be permanent resident, Canadian citizen, Convention refugee or refugee claimant eligible to work in Canada, with English proficiency that meets Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) Level 7 or above  
 
Clients in Francophone programs must demonstrate French language proficiency of Niveaux de compétence linguistique canadiens (NCLC) Level 7
