Description (Service)

Family Services and Training: families receive information and training within their community; may include workshops, seminars, consultations and information about autism spectrum disorders, and Ontario Autism Program

Core Clinical Services:

  • applied behaviour analysis
  • speech-language pathology
  • occupational therapy
  • assistive technology lending
  • mental health services including counselling and/or psychotherapy

Entry to school program: school readiness skills training for children entering kindergarten or grade 1, and transitional supports once children have entered school

Urgent responsive services: crisis prevention and stabilization for children and youth displaying high-risk behaviours

Care-giver mediated early years program: parental skills development to provide therapeutic strategies and specific techniques based upon the needs of children 12 months 4 years of age

Services can be accessed directly through the regional service provider or families can receive funding to work with another service provider
