Income-based benefit of up to $200 monthly for adults with disabilities

First month of eligibility is June 2025; benefit amount based on adjusted family net income. Applicants and their spouse or common-law partner (if applicable) must have filed previous year's federal income tax returns and must:

• be 18-64 years
• have been approved for the disability tax credit
• be Canadian residents for income tax filing purposes
• be one of the following:
  • a Canadian citizen
  • a permanent resident
  • an individual registered or entitled to be registered under the Indian Act
  • a protected person
  • a temporary resident who has lived in Canada throughout the previous 18 months
