Volunteers assist in a variety of areas and roles

Fundraising efforts include: 
 
Charitable Donations

• GHVA accepts charitable donations, including in memoriam
• donations cards available at local funeral home  

Poinsettia Sale

• Poinsettias offered for pre-order in Nov with delivery the first week of Dec 

Trinkets & Treats Gift Shop

• Offers a selection of giftware, cards, flowers, baby clothes, toiletries, candles, clothing and plush toys
• located by the main entrance 

Knitting

• Volunteers knit baby outfits, blankets, scarves and slippers for sale in the Gift Shop
• donations of wool welcome 

Raffles

• Held at various times
• donations of raffle items welcome

Volunteer Hours 
Most shifts are once per week, between 2-4 hours each

Gift Shop Hours (subject to volunteer availability)
Mon-Fri 10 am-8 pm, Sat-Sun 10 am-3 pm 

• Volunteers require a 2-step Tuberculosis Skin Test and up-to-date Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella (MMRV), Tetanus, Diptheria, Pertussis (TdaP) immunization status
• Some volunteer positions require a criminal records check

• Volunteer intake periods are January and July annually
