Created to help the communities in Halton develop the tools and programs needed to support newcomers

  • working to ensure Halton region is a welcoming, inclusive and supportive community in which newcomers can participate and prosper 

Objectives:

  • improve access to and coordination of settlement services 
  • improve labour market outcomes for newcomers
  • strengthen regional awareness and capacity to successfully integrate newcomers
