Volunteers assist the hospital staff in providing care to patients and help financially by fundraising. Volunteers help in a variety of areas and roles including:

• nursing units
• in-hospital patient transport
• dialysis
• Emergency
• Information Desk
• library book cart
• Out-patient Clinics
• patient visitation
• surgical day care
• rehabilitation therapy
• ConnectCARE
• off site opportunities throughout the Halton community
• gift shop, convenience store, fundraising activities
• volunteer positions exist mostly days, with some evenings and weekends

Office Mon-Fri 8:30 am-4:30 pm

• physically and mentally capable of performing tasks as required
• two references are required, along with a baseline immunization record and tuberculosis testing
• criminal record and judicial matters check required for adults; some positions require vulmerable sector screening.
