Description (Service) Family education, emotional support and practical assistance, public awareness, and advocacy on behalf of people with schizophrenia and their families

One-to-One Support
Telephone, online and in-person support services, including first episode or new diagnosis of schizophrenia/psychosis, and ongoing issues regarding schizophrenia and related mental illness
  • addictions and substance abuse concerns
  • mental health and justice concerns
  • housing, employment and ODSP issues
  • medication and treatment support
  • crisis planning
  • coping and support for families and caregivers
  • advocacy
  • system navigation and community resources connections
Hours Counselling: Mon-Fri 9 am-5 pm
Areas Served Ontario
Eligibility Individuals and families living with or affected by mental health issues, particularly schizophrenia and other forms of psychosis
