Library system consists of 14 branches located in communities throughout the County

• library cards obtained through any branch
• all branches connected by online library catalogue
• Internet hotspots
• WiFi available
• electronic resources (research tools, eBooks, eAudiobooks)

Has borrowing agreements with the library systems listed below. Patrons may be entitled to a free membership card if they live in the area of, and pay taxes that fund, one of these library systems:

• Cambridge Libraries and Galleries
• Guelph Public Library
• Halton Hills Public Library
• Hamilton Public Library
• Huron County Library
• Milton Public Library
• Perth County Information Network (North Perth, Perth East, St Mary's, Stratford, West Perth)
• Region of Waterloo Public Library (not including City of Waterloo or Waterloo)

Mon-Thu 10 am-8 pm * Fri, Sat 10 am-5 pm

• People who reside in Wellington County, pay taxes to the County, or live within the area of a neighbouring library system
• Students who attend school within the County, but do not live within its boundaries, are exempt from the non-resident fee
• People who do not live in Wellington County or one of the municipalities that WCL has a borrowing agreement with can purchase a non-resident membership (currently $240 annually - a monthly payment option is available)

Adults and teens can apply for a library card at any branch or online; children 13 years of age and under, as well as non-residents, must apply in person
